Chief Services Officer
As Chief Services Officer, Jason is responsible for leading all aspects of Petco’s services businesses, including our veterinary care service strategy, expansion and operations. Additionally, Jason oversees our grooming and dog training services departments, and the expansion strategies for external services.
Since joining Petco in 2015 as Vice President, Field Operations, Jason has served in various roles, most recently as Senior Vice President, Pet Services. He has led the rapid acceleration of our grooming business and has been central to the build out of our owned veterinary services model – including the acquisition of Thrive Pet Healthcare’s 50% stake in a joint pet hospital venture operating nearly 100 full-service veterinary hospitals in Petco pet care centers across the U.S. under the THRIVE brand, at the time.
Jason brings nearly two decades of retail experience across corporate operations and strategy, as well as field operations leadership. Prior to joining Petco, Jason held leadership roles at 7-Eleven and Circuit City.
Jason holds a bachelor’s degree from University of Nebraska and earned an executive master’s degree in business administration from Southern Methodist University. He is based at Petco’s National Support Center in San Diego.
