Senior Vice President of People
As Senior Vice President of People, Liz is charged with driving success with Petco's most valuable asset: its more than 27,000 passionate Petco partners (employees). Ensuring their health and safety is at the center of everything Petco does.
Leveraging her more than 15 years of experience driving comprehensive HR strategies with a people-first approach for brands in the retail, logistics, education and insurance industries, Liz leads Petco's people function by fostering a diverse, cohesive culture that promotes both employee engagement and business success.
Liz joined Petco in 2019 as Vice President of Field Human Resources. Prior to joining Petco, she served as Director of HR Business Partner for Confie Seguros, where she led merger and acquisition integration for the organization, as well as human resources for the western United States and Mexico divisions. Previously, she held HR positions at Pacific Ridge, Forest Home and Daryl Flood Logistics.
Liz holds an MBA in strategy and organization from University of California, Irvine, and a bachelor's degree in social sciences and organizational studies from University of Oklahoma. She is based at Petco's National Support Center in San Diego.
