PETCO will unveil their new Auburn Hills store located at 4820 South Baldwin Road with an exciting grand opening weekend on Saturday and Sunday, August 19 and 20, 2000.

Special events during the weekend will focus on fun for the entire family. For the kids, there will be a face-painting clown, a mini Bouncer and a special story time and craft demonstration. Visitors are encouraged to bring in the four-legged members of their families for a Dog Wash and professional pet photography. A Dunk Tank and a demonstration by the D.A.R.E. K-9 Unit round out the weekend's activities.

"This is the first large specialty pet supply store in Auburn Hills," says Store Manager Kris Gent. "I think customers will be extremely impressed by our extensive aquatics area and large selection of premium pet foods as well as our knowledgeable associates," Gent added. The 19,000 square foot store features a small animal and reptile area, fresh and saltwater fish aquariums, a bird room and a grooming salon.

Store hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
