To mark their entrance into the Pittsburgh market, PETCO is planning an exciting grand opening weekend for the new North Hills store located at 4801 McKnight Road, on Saturday and Sunday, September 9 and 10, 2000.
Pet owners are encouraged to drop by the store for special activities such as professional pet photography and free nail trimming for their four-legged friends. Prospective pet owners are also invited to stop in and visit with three different animal rescue organizations who will be offering pet adoptions throughout the weekend. The Rainforest Reptile Show, Funny Face the Clown and a Coloring Contest round out the weekend's activities.
"We're thrilled to be bringing PETCO into a dynamic market like Pittsburgh," says Store Manager Roy Hoover. "Customers will enjoy our large assortment of premium pet supplies and our fun, lively environment," Hoover added. The 19,000 square foot store features a small animal and reptile area, fresh and saltwater fish aquariums and a bird room.
Store hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
