Special events during the weekend will focus on fun with animals. Customers are encouraged to bring in their pets for free nail trimming, professional pet photography and the Pet/Owner Look-a-like Contest. Peggy Moran, pet author for "Dog World", will talk about pets on Saturday and Sunday. For the kids, the Around the Town Clown will provide facepainting. In addition, four animal rescue organizations will be on hand throughout the weekend to offer pet adoptions and adoption information.
"This is going to be a terrific grand opening," says Store Manager Robin Reuter. "Visitors are going to love our full assortment of premium pet supplies and superior customer service," Reuter added. The 15,000 square foot store features a small animal and reptile area, fresh and saltwater fish aquariums, a bird room and a grooming salon.
Store hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
