There will be fun for the entire family at the grand opening of the relocated Rockford PETCO located at 6305 East State Street, on Saturday and Sunday, June 23 and 24, 2001. The new store replaces the previous location at 5690 East State Street.
Highlights of the festivities will include Professional Pet Photography, Obedience Training Information and for the kids, a clown will offer face painting. In addition, several animal rescue organizations will be on hand throughout the weekend to answer questions.
"Customers are going to love our new, bigger store," says Store Manager Mark Cooley. "We can now offer a much larger selection of premium pet products and an assortment of live animals," Cooley added. The 15,000 square foot store features a small animal and reptile area, fresh and saltwater fish aquariums, a bird room and a grooming salon.
Store hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
