PETCO announces the grand opening of the new Temple, TX store located at 2112 SW H. K. Dodgen Loop on Saturday February 23 and Sunday February 24, 2002.
Animal lovers are encouraged to bring down their furry (or not so furry) friends to participate in Sing for Your Dog's Supper or have their photos taken by a professional pet photographer. For the kids there will be a clown offering face painting with balloon animals, and free popcorn and cotton candy. Prospective pet owners are also invited to drop by the store to discuss animal adoptions from different animal rescue organizations, and see a demonstration by the Temple Police Department's K-9 Unit. Radio stations Waco 100 and KUSJ will be broadcasting from the store Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
"This is going to be a terrific grand opening," says Store Manager Tim Beaver. "Visitors are going to love our full assortment of premium pet supplies and superior customer service," Beaver added. The 15,000 square foot store features a small animal and reptile area, fresh and saltwater fish aquariums, a bird room and a grooming salon.
Store hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
