Chief Financial Officer
Sabrina Simmons joined Petco as Chief Financial Officer in February 2025.
Sabrina is a seasoned financial leader with more than 20 years of executive-level financial experience. Having served as a member of Petco’s Board of Directors and Audit Chair from 2021 until voluntarily resigning to assume her role as Petco’s Chief Financial Officer, she has long been familiar with Petco’s business and believes deeply in the company’s mission to improve the lives of pets and pet parents. Now as CFO, Sabrina oversees the company’s financial strategy, long-term business planning, treasury, risk management, tax, investor relations, controllership, and internal audit.
Prior to Petco, Sabrina served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Gap, Inc. where she supported a multi-year operational transformation and delivered significant margin expansion and shareholder value. She also served in the following positions at Gap: Executive Vice President, Corporate Finance; Senior Vice President, Corporate Finance and Treasurer; and Vice President and Treasurer.
Sabrina currently serves on the Board of Directors of Columbia Sportswear Company as well as the Board of Directors and Audit Committee of Coursera, Inc., and previously served on the Board of Directors of Williams-Sonoma Inc. and e.l.f. Beauty, Inc.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from the Haas School of Business at University of California, Berkeley and a master’s degree in business administration from the Anderson School at UCLA. Sabrina is also a CPA (inactive) in the state California.
