Calista joined Petco in 2024 as Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer, responsible for leading Petco’s long-term enterprise growth strategy and transformation.
His expertise covers a wide-range of management consulting and business transformation work across the retail and healthcare industries. Dan is the founder & former CEO of Vynamic a 200+ person management consulting firm.
Growing Vynamic from scratch in 2002, Calista led Vynamic with a “people first” sustainable culture, which drove the business model to serve clients with a team of highly engaged and experienced management consultants. Vynamic leads strategic engagements spanning many of the largest healthcare industry companies, including health plans, life sciences, providers, and technology firms.
Prior to Vynamic, Dan was an Executive at Accenture in the management consulting retail industry practice.
In 2017, Dan sold Vynamic in a strategic acquisition to Dublin based and publicly traded, UDG Healthcare, plc. Since the sale, he has served as an advisor and investor to various business ventures, especially those with a healthcare and wellness focus.
Dan earned a bachelor’s degree from Babson College. He reports directly to CEO Joel Anderson and is based out of Petco’s National support Center in San Diego.
