Customers will be able to chat with their cats or pick their pooch's brain with the help of a professional pet psychic at the grand opening of the new East Wenatchee PETCO located at 516 North Valley Mall Parkway, on Saturday and Sunday, August 19 and 20, 2000.
Highlighting the weekend's special events will be a psychic communicator who will help visitors get in touch with their four-legged friends. Other pet-related activities include a Pet/Owner Look-a-like Contest and professional pet photography. KPQ-FM will be broadcasting live from the store on Saturday and hosting Pet Trivia and Animal Imitation games. For the kids, there will be an Astro Jump as well as clowns offering balloon art and facepainting.
"Everyone is invited to bring in their pets and check out all of the festivities we have planned for the grand opening," says Store Manager Mike Robertson. "PETCO offers a full assortment of premium pet supplies and superior customer service," Robertson added. The 12,000 square foot store features a small animal and reptile area, fresh and saltwater fish aquariums, a bird room and a grooming salon.
Store hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
