PETCO is going to the dogs and cats and birds in celebration of the grand opening of the new Big Flats store located at 831 County Route 64 in Consumers Square, on Saturday and Sunday, August 19 and 20, 2000.
Special events during the weekend will focus on fun with animals. Customers are encouraged to bring in their pets for the Pet Costume Contest and professional pet photography. The Rainforest Reptile Show and the Bird Seminar will educate visitors on our scaly and feathery friends. A visit by WOKN 99.5 will keep everyone entertained. In addition, two animal rescue organizations will be offering pet adoptions throughout the weekend.
"This is going to be a terrific grand opening," says Store Manager Jeff Owlett. "Visitors are going to love our full assortment of premium pet supplies and superior customer service," Owlett added. The 13,000 square foot store features a small animal and reptile area, fresh and saltwater fish aquariums, a bird room and a grooming salon.
Store hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
