PETCO is planning a fun and informative weekend to celebrate the grand opening of the new Leominster store located at 289 North Main Street, on Saturday and Sunday, September 16 and 17, 2000.

Highlighting the weekend's special events will be visits by two animal rescue organizations. Responsible pet owners will be able to adopt abandoned animals from Worcester Animal Rescue and Greyhound Rescue. Visitors are encouraged to bring in their four-legged friends for free nail trimming, professional pet photography and a pet obedience demonstration. The exotic animals of the Rainforest Reptile Show and Bonkers the Clown round out the weekend's activities.

"Pet owners and prospective pet owners will enjoy this grand opening," says Store Manager Bob Teschner. "Our store features a full selection of premium pet products and knowledgeable associates," Teschner added. The 15,000 square foot store features a small animal and reptile area, fresh and saltwater fish aquariums, a bird room and a grooming salon.

Store hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
