PETCO is planning an exciting weekend to celebrate the grand opening of their new Van Nuys store located at 5850 Sepulveda Boulevard, on Saturday and Sunday, October 14 and 15, 2000.
Highlighting the event will be an appearance by pet psychic, Guinevere, on Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Guinevere has over 17 years of experience communicating with animals and will help store visitors chat with their cats and pick their pooch's brain. Other activities include professional pet photography, a Fat Cat Contest, a Dog/Owner Look-alike Contest and pet adoptions from the Kitten Rescue and the Border Collie Rescue.
"We think this is going to be a fun and exciting grand opening," says Store Manager Dave Sorge. "Visitors will love our large assortment of premium pet products and knowledgeable associates," Sorge added. The 9,500 square foot store features a small animal and reptile area, fresh and saltwater fish aquariums, a bird room and a grooming salon.
Store hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
