A fun filled weekend is planned to celebrate the grand opening of the new Green Bay PETCO located at 2390 E. Mason St., on Saturday and Sunday, November 4 and 5, 2000.

PETCO's other Green Bay store located at 2515 W. Mason St., will help celebrate the grand opening by offering special savings.

Highlighting the weekend's special events will be an appearance by Pet Rissage, Ltd., therapeutic pet massage for animals. Visitors are encouraged to bring in their four legged friends for a massage, which offers many benefits such as increasing circulation, improving muscle tone and promoting relaxation.

Radio Station WQLH-FM, Star 98 will be on hand offering prizes. A drawing for two Green Bay Packers tickets is included in this weekend's prizes. A pet psychic will be available to read your pet's mind and you won't want to miss the pet fashion show. For the kids, a clown will offer facepainting. In addition, several animal rescue organizations will be available offering information.

"We are looking forward to meeting our new pet friends," says Store Manager Mary Prosser. "Visitors will love our large selection of premium pet products and knowledgeable associates," Prosser added. The 15,000 square foot store features a small animal and reptile area, fresh and saltwater fish aquariums, a bird room and a grooming salon.

Store hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
