A fun filled weekend is planned to celebrate the grand opening of the new Snellville store located at 1630 Scenic Highway, on Saturday and Sunday, November 11 and 12, 2000.
Special events during the weekend will focus on fun with animals. Visitors are encouraged to bring in their pets for the Pet Owner Look a Like Contest. WSTR 94.1 will provide entertainment with a live radio broadcast. Hamster races will add to the fun. In addition, information will be offered on obedience training and animal adoptions throughout the weekend. For the kids, a face painting clown and moon bounce are sure to be a hit.
"This is going to be a terrific grand opening," says Store Manager Mil Horner. "Visitors are going to love our full assortment of premium pet supplies and knowledgeable associates," Horner added. The 15,000 square foot store features a small animal and reptile area, fresh and saltwater fish aquariums, a bird room and a grooming salon.
Store hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
