A fun weekend is planned to celebrate the grand opening of the Patchougue PETCO located at 401 Sunrise Highway, on Saturday and Sunday, November 18 and 19, 2000.
Highlighting the weekend's special events will be a Best Dressed Pet Contest. Visitors are encouraged to bring in their dapper dogs and fashion-conscious cats for a chance to win exciting prizes, including a year's supply of free food from Pro Plan. Hamster races will add to the fun.
For the kids, a face painting clown and a Moon Bounce will provide entertainment. In addition, information on animal adoptions from local animal rescue organizations, obedience training and low cost vaccinations will be available throughout the weekend.
"We are excited to be in Patchogue," says Store Manager Tricia O'Neill. "We offer a large selection of premium pet products and knowledgeable associates," O'Neill added. The 15,000 square foot store features a small animal and reptile area, fresh and saltwater fish aquariums, a bird room and a grooming salon.
Store hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
