PETCO announces the grand opening of the new West Seneca, NY store located at 370 Orchard Park Rd on Saturday April 21 and Sunday April 22, 2001.

Pets are invited to bring their owners along for such exciting events as the Fat Cat Contest and hamster races. Other highlights of the weekend will include free nail trims, and a demonstration from Rainforest Reptiles. For the kids there will be a clown offering face painting and a petting zoo with over 30 animals. Prospective pet owners are also invited to drop by the store to discuss animal adoptions from several different animal rescue organizations.

"This is going to be a terrific grand opening," says Store Manager Tom Isaman. "Visitors are going to love our full assortment of premium pet supplies and superior customer service," Isaman added. The 14,500 square foot store features a small animal and reptile area, fresh and saltwater fish aquariums, a bird room and a grooming salon.

Store hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
