PETCO will throw open its doors to pets and pet-lovers at the grand opening of the new Riverdale store located at 4153 S. Riverdale Rd., on Saturday and Sunday, May 5 and 6, 2001.
Highlights of the weekend's activities include free toenail trims and a pet photographer. For the kids there will be a Dino slide and clowns offering face painting and balloons. In addition, several rescue organizations will provide pet adoptions and information throughout the weekend.
"Come join our family," says Store Manager Robert Ricks. "We are looking forward to helping you with all of your pet's needs," Ricks added. The 12,000 square foot store features a small animal and reptile area, fresh and saltwater fish aquariums, a bird room and a grooming salon.
Store hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
