A fun weekend of animal-related events will mark the grand opening of the new Roswell PETCO located at 2340 Holcomb bridge Rd., on Saturday and Sunday, April 28 and 29, 2001.

Visitors to the store are encouraged to bring in their four-legged friends for exciting activities like the Pet Trick Contest, and free toenail clips. In addition, information will be offered throughout the weekend about obedience training and low-cost vaccinations as well as information from several Animal Rescue Organizations. For the kids, a face painting clown and Moonbounce will be part of the entertainment.

"We are ecstatic to be serving the Roswell community," says Store Manager, Ernest Brighthop. The 15,700 square foot store features a small animal and reptile area, fresh and saltwater fish aquariums, a bird room and a grooming salon.

Store hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
