Pet-related fun will mark the grand opening of the relocated Lynnwood PETCO located at 2617 196th St. SW, on Saturday May 5, 2001. The new store replaces the former location at 19500 Highway 99 Ste. 100.
Highlights of the day's activities will include free toenail trims, a Submarine Adventure sponsored by Nutro, and obedience and vaccination information. For the kids, a clown will be on hand to offer face painting and entertainment. In addition, several rescue organizations will provide pet adoptions and information throughout the weekend.
"Customers will love our new, bigger store with nearly twice as much room for premium pet products," says Store Manager Rob Ellis. "Even though the store has changed, we will continue to provide the superior customer service that PETCO customers have come to expect," Ellis added. The 13,200 square foot store features a small animal and reptile area, fresh and saltwater fish aquariums, a bird room and a grooming salon.
Store hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
