PETCO will throw open its doors to pets and pet-lovers at the grand opening of the new Quincy store located at 169 Parkingway in Quincy, MA, on Saturday and Sunday, June 2 and 3, 2001.
The weekend's festivities will kick off on Saturday at 9 am with the ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by the Mayor of Quincy, James A. Sheets. Pet owners are encouraged to bring in their furry friends for professional pet photography, obedience training info and low-cost vaccination info. Prospective pet owners are also invited to drop by the store to discuss animal adoptions with animal rescue organizations. A Best Pet Tricks Contest, the Rain Forest Reptile show and a face painting clown will round out the weekend's events.
"This is going to be a terrific grand opening," says Store Manager Glenn Spencer. "Visitors are going to love our full assortment of premium pet supplies and superior customer service," Spencer added. The 14,500 square foot store features a small animal and reptile area, fresh and saltwater fish aquariums, a bird room and a grooming salon.
Store hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
