PETCO will throw open its doors to pets and pet-lovers at the grand opening of the new Cedar Hill store located at 433 East FM 1382, on Saturday and Sunday, June 30 and July 1, 2001.
Pet owners are encouraged to tune up their vocal cords and come on down to participate in the popular "Sing For Your Dog's Supper" contest sponsored by Nutro. In addition, there will be free toenail clippings, a professional pet photographer, and an exhibit by International Wildlife Center. For the kids there will be a clown with face painting and an Astro Jumper. Prospective pet owners are also invited to drop by the store to discuss animal adoptions with several different animal rescue organizations.
"This is going to be a terrific grand opening," says Store Manager Michael Pugh. "Visitors are going to love our full assortment of premium pet supplies and superior customer service," Pugh added. The 12,475 square foot store features a small animal and reptile area, fresh and saltwater fish aquariums, a bird room and a grooming salon.
Store hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
