An emphasis on adoptions will highlight the grand opening of the relocated Hillsboro PETCO located at 2151 SE Tualatin Valley Hwy, on Saturday and Sunday, September 15 and 16, 2001. The new store replaces the former location at 2643 SE Tualatin Valley Hwy.
Highlighting the weekend's activities will be the attendance of numerous rescue organizations that will be providing both information and adoptions. Other scheduled events will include obedience training information, vaccination information, free nail trims and for the kids, a face painting clown.
"Customers will love our new, bigger store with much more room for premium pet products," says Store Manager Rick Shriver. "Even though the store has changed, we will continue to provide the superior customer service that PETCO customers have come to expect," Shriver added. The 15,390 square foot store features a small animal and reptile area, fresh and saltwater fish aquariums, a bird room and a grooming salon.
Store hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
