PETCO announces the grand opening of the new Clifton Heights, PA store located at 520 W. Baltimore Pike on Saturday, March 2 and Sunday, March 3.
Animal lovers are encouraged to bring down their furry (or not so furry) friends to participate in the Fat Cat and Most Unusual Pet Contests, or to get information about professional pet photography and low cost vaccinations. There will also be an opportunity to adopt a new friend from "Wags N Whiskers," who will be at the new store both days. Brings the kids, too, to meet Philadelphia Kixx mascot SoccerRoo, fill up on free cotton candy, nachos and popcorn, enter the coloring contest or watch the hamster races.
"We are very excited about this weekend," says Store Manager Joe Filano. "This is a great neighborhood and we are really looking forward to becoming a part of the community," Filano added. The 10,000 square foot store features a small animal and reptile area, fresh and saltwater fish aquariums, a bird room and a grooming salon.
Store hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
