PETCO.com recently completed a successful pilot test program in 145 stores, and decided to roll out the return program on a nationwide basis beginning August 4. Customers will now have the ability to go to any PETCO store to return or exchange an item purchased on PETCO.com. A "return to store receipt" will be available through the customer's online order history.
"We want to make sure our customers are completely satisfied with every PETCO purchase, and want to make returns or exchanges are as simple as possible," said Mike Woodard, PETCO's Senior Vice President of Business Development. "In the process, we hope to convert more offline shoppers to multi-channel shoppers by overcoming the worry and inconvenience of returning an item that was bought online."
